I Call Fives - Elevator Music
I can’t even remember where I heard about these guys, which is pathetic because I know it was just the other day. However, I Call Fives has some pretty exciting shit happening on their latest effort, Bad Advice.
They sound like a young Hit The Lights, but with slightly more potential. That’s not a knock to the HTL crew either. I Call Fives could potentially be hitting the pop-punk marketplace at just the right time, or they could be hitting it just as it begins to flop. It’s hard to predict this pop-punk trend because it goes in and out so quickly.
But regardless of what point in the trend they have hit the marketplace, I Call Fives has enough swagger and just the right amount of charisma to keep kids listening, whether it’s on pop radio or in humble rock clubs across the nation.
Pick up/iTunes a copy of Bad Advice a.s.a.p, and stay on the lookout for a full length sometime in the near future.
